Meet and Duo's integration may be perplexing, but it should provide some useful features in return. The company has introduced a live sharing beta feature that allows users of the modernized Meet to broadcast Spotify and YouTube videos during conversations. You can also play games like Uno Mobile and Kahoot on your smartphone. If you've ever used SharePlay, you'll recognize this feature, but you won't be able to use Spotify or YouTube with Apple's media feature.

Rescheduled recurring meetings, virtual backgrounds, and in-meeting chats are among the Meet enhancements. Live sharing has been gradually rolling out over the past several weeks, much as with Duo's new features. For mobile devices, the Duo rebranding will occur throughout August, with everyone else getting it afterward.

The Meet-and-Duo integration has been compared to modern video conferencing solutions. Live sharing is a good example of this. It's an acceptance that many people use video chats as social platforms, particularly when remote gatherings are more popular than they were before the epidemic.
