ZA/UM has confirmed that key developers have left the studio. However, the team is actively working on a new game, news about this plan are scheduled to be shared in the near future

According to Eurogamer, ZA/UM has officially confirmed that several key developers have left the studio. We wrote about it yesterday in the news.

Here's What We Know

One of the developers said the following:

"Like any video game, the development of Disco Elysium was and still is a collective effort, with every team member's contribution essential and valued as part of a greater whole. At this time, we have no further comment to make other than the ZA/UM creative team's focus remains on the development of our next project, and we are excited to share more news on this with you all soon"

Also in a tweet, Alexander Rostov confirmed that he, Robert Kurvitz and Helen Hindpere have left the studio.

Flashback

Martin Luiga, one of the authors of Disco Elysium, said that the key developers of the project left the studio, and the cultural association ZA/UM, not to be confused with the studio, was dissolved. However, he reassured everyone who was worried about the fate of the Disco Elysium sequel. Martin assured that everything is more than fine with the sequel.
