Google's branded iPhone apps got widgets for iOS 16 lock screen

Google has kept its promise and released widgets for its branded apps under the iOS 16 lock screen.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about Google, Gmail, Google Maps, Chrome, Google News, and Google Drive. Google and Google Maps were the last to get widgets. The software updates were announced a couple of days ago. In the first case, we are talking about the search widget, voice search, Google Lens and Google Lens Shortcuts.

As for Google Maps, the program got a widget with frequent trips and road search.

Similar widgets can also be found in Google News, Gmail, Google Drive and Chrome.
