A month before the official announcement Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile processor was tested in the software Geekbench.

Here's What We Know

In the benchmark performance test passed the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S23. It is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and runs the Android 13 operating system. According to Geekbench, the peak frequency of the chip will be 3.36 GHz. The frequency of the "middle" block of cores is 2.8 GHz, and the "small" block is 2.02 GHz. For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 has frequencies of 3.2 GHz, 2.75 GHz and 2 GHz, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 scored 1,524 points in the single-core test and 4,597 points in the all-core test. It is one and a half times better than its predecessor Galaxy S22 on the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. The model, announced in early 2022, scores about 1,000 and 3,000 points in Single-Core and Multi-Core, respectively.
