NetherRealm studio announced a new game in the Mortal Kombat universe.

It will be a mobile project with the subtitle Onslaught, which in addition to the usual mechanics will appear elements of strategy and even collectible games.

Other details about the game is scarce, but the developers promise that the cinematic clips Mortal Kombat: Onslaught not inferior to the ones from the full series parts.

It is known that players must make up teams of familiar characters from the Mortal Kombat universe and with their help fight the forces of evil.

The release of Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is scheduled for 2023 on iOS and Android.
