Royal Caribbean International has officially released a video showing the Icon of the Seas cruise liner.

Here's What We Know

The cruise liner will be the first ship in history to use liquefied natural gas as fuel. But apart from that the ship will have a lot of other features.

Icon of the Seas can carry 5,610 passengers provided only 2 people live in each suite. As you can see the number of staterooms is 2,805. The ship's crew consists of 2,350 people and the maximum number of people allowed on board is 9,950.

Royal Caribbean International says the liner will have 20 decks, a water park with seven pools (one of which will be suspended) and six waterslides. Another feature of the cruise ship will be a waterfall. In addition, the Icon of the Seas will have four dozen stores, a concert hall, Jacuzzi and fountains.

The length of the ship will be 365 meters and its displacement will be 250,800 tons. Construction of the liner has already begun. The Icon of the Seas is expected to set sail on its first cruise in 2024, a year after its launch.
