The Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sumy region were able to shoot down a Russian Supercam S350 unmanned aerial vehicle.

Here's What We Know

The drone is built according to the "flying wing" aerodynamic scheme. The wingspan is 3.2 meters. The drone can spend up to 4.5 hours in flight at an altitude of 150 meters to 5 km.

The Supercam S350 is capable of speeds up to 120 kilometers per hour. The maximum radio and video range is 100 km, and the flight range is 240 km. An elastic catapult is used to launch the drone and landing is performed using a parachute system.

The drone is used for reconnaissance. It can carry 20 MP to 60 MP still cameras, a multispectral camera and a laser scanner. The Supercam S350 has a maximum takeoff weight of 11.5 kg.
