Jason David Frank, the actor best known for his portrayal of the Green and White Rangers as Tom Oliver in the Power Rangers series, has died at the age of 49.

Information about this was reported by TMZ with reference to Frank Justin Hunt.

"Please respect the privacy of his family and friends at this terrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful man," Hunt said. "He was very loved by his family, friends and fans. He will be truly missed."

Frank was present right from the first season of Power Rangers in 1993 as the Green Ranger, who worked against the main characters for the evil alien corporation Rita Repulsa. Later he became a hero himself and even became the White Ranger and the new leader of the team. It was this series that brought him fame.

Jason David Frank is survived by four children.
