Google brings long scrolling search page to PC
Google search results on PCs will now be displayed in the form of a long ribbon, as reported by Google itself. It should be noted that it will not be an endless ribbon. Google will load the standard six pages and only after scrolling through them will offer you to click the "See more" button to show even more results.
Google says that this change is being rolled out first for English searches in the US, but judging by the rollout of this feature on mobile devices, additional markets and languages can be expected to be added over time.
This change mirrors the design of most social networks, where content is displayed as a refreshable scrolling feed. Ideally, this will speed up searches and make it less important for websites to be on the first page of search results.
