Xiaomi introduced a 1TB SSD for smartphones and computers

Xiaomi has presented a new SSD. This is the first SSD, which will be released under the brand Xiaomi.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is an M.2 SSD with PCI Express support. The read and write speed is up to 2000 MB/s. The case is made of aluminum. According to the manufacturer, the SSD can be connected not only to computers based on Windows, Linux and MacOS. Work with Android devices starting with v9.0 Pie is also supported.

The new SSD is now available on Xiaomi's crowdfunding platform for $95. Sales are scheduled to start in mid-December. The cost of the drive at retail will be $115.
