Spanish police start testing EHang EH216 air cab
The Chinese company EHang handed over to the Spanish police EH216 air cab, which will be engaged in pilot operation of the aircraft.

EHang has been preparing for the first launch of the EH216 in Spain for more than a year. The air cab has been handed over to the police, who want the aircraft for missions in the future. Law enforcement officers are attracted by the remote application option of the EH216.
The air cab can lift a load of 260 kg. Now the company is testing an air cab with an autopilot, although in the future a human will be able to control the aircraft. For this purpose, a tablet computer is installed on board.
EH-216 is equipped with an electric motor, which allows speeds of up to 130 km/hour. The air cab can travel about 35 km on a full battery charge. The maximum flight time is 20 minutes.
