Nubia, as promised, held an event in China, where it presented a new flagship smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The novelty was called Nubia Z50. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, FHD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and a built-in scanner. The screen supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 3000000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 nits peak brightness.

Running the flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. With regard to cameras, there are three: the main 64 MP (Sony IMX787) + 50 MP (Samsung S5KJN1) and a 16 MP front (OmniVision OV16A1Q). The camera supports proprietary algorithms NeoVision. Nubia Z50 is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. It charges using a power supply for 80 watts. The smartphone comes with the Android 13 operating system and the proprietary MyOS 13 shell.

Nubia Z50 will start selling on December 23, but so far only in China.
