Tesla will build electric car plant in Mexico

Tesla may have another plant outside the United States in the foreseeable future. But not too far away.

This week, Elon Musk's company is expected to officially announce the construction of a plant in Mexico, in addition to its existing facilities in China (Shanghai) and Germany (Berlin). It is reported by Bloomberg, citing informed sources.

Plant for the assembly of electric cars will appear in an industrial area in the northeastern part of Mexico. The facility will be located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. Tesla is now finalizing plans for the factory. State authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico are involved in the negotiations.
