B-1B Lancer supersonic strategic bombers flew over Rose Bowl Stadium during the Rose Parade

The annual Rose Parade was once again attended by United States Air Force aircraft. But this year they had to do B-1B Lancer supersonic aircraft will replace nuclear bombers B-2 Spirit in the Rose Parade and fly over Rose Bowl Stadium during the game.

Here's What We Know

Because of an accident at Whiteman Air Force Base late last year, B-2 Spirit aircraft are still not allowed to fly. So the B-1B Lancer supersonic strategic bombers took part in the Rose Parade instead.

The two Rockwell jets flew low and loud over the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Stadium. The B-2 Spirit "flying wings" are expected to take part in the parade again in 2024.
