Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users can now check smartwatch battery status on their smartphone

The other day we wrote that Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro get new features with software update, which added the ability to control the zoom on the smartphone. As it turned out, the devices received a few more useful changes.

Here's What We Know

According to our colleagues at SamMobile, Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users can now check the smartwatch's battery status on a connected smartphone. To do that, you have to go into the Samsung Members app. The new feature is called Connected Device Diagnostics.

In addition to checking the battery, the innovation also allows diagnosing the sensor, speaker and other functions of the watch. In the near future, a similar feature will also receive the Galaxy Watch 4.
