€3,880,000 contract: Italy buys Hero-30 kamikaze drones with a range of up to 40 km from Israel

Italian special operations forces will receive Hero-30 kamikaze drones.

The information was shared by Defense News. The number of drones is not named, but it is known that the contract is for 3,880,000 euros. Deliveries of UAVs will begin this year.

Hero-30 is a barraging munition (aka kamikaze drone) manufactured by Israeli company UVision. Hero-30 is capable of hitting targets up to 40 km away. The drone has an acceleration of up to 185 km/h. It has a 0.5 kg payload. Hero-30 is capable of staying in the air for up to 30 minutes.
