Samsung and LG will supply OLED displays for Apple's iPad Pro tablet in 2024

Apple has found two display suppliers for the iPad Pro tablets that will be available in 2024. Phone Arena reports this, citing SamMobile.

Here's What We Know

Apple will unveil its first iPad Pro tablet computer with an organic LED display in 2024. According to the source, Apple has signed contracts with LG and Samsung to supply OLED panels.

The current iPad Pro lineup features models with 10.9" and 12.9" screens that use LCD and Mini-LED matrices, respectively. Both panels support 120Hz refresh rate.

China's BOE also tried to get a contract to supply OLED displays for 2024 tablets, but was left out. However, this probably has nothing to do with BOE changing the specifications of OLED screens for the iPhone 13 without Apple's knowledge.

Production of the displays for the future iPad Pro will start in the first quarter of 2024. This was announced by Display Supply Chain Consultants co-founder and CEO Ross Young. The orders will be split equally between LG and Samsung.
