Redmi Note 12 Turbo to become the first smartphone in the brand's history with 1TB of memory

Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi Note 12 Turbo next week. It will be the fifth member of the 12th generation and will feature a record-breaking amount of memory.

Here's What We Know

The top-end version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will offer buyers a storage capacity of 1TB. This is something that no other smartphone in the Redmi brand can boast of. Moreover, among all the models in Xiaomi's range, POCO, Redmi and Black Shark, only Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is available with 1TB of internal storage.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have 16GB of RAM. This too is a record among smartphones from the Chinese company. When it comes to other manufacturers, some ASUS, ZTE, nubia and Lenovo models are equipped with 18GB RAM.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be the world's first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. The processor realme GT Neo 5 SE powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 sets a performance record for a mid-range smartphone and beats the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in Geekbench 5.

When We Can Expect It

The new product will be unveiled on March 28.
