Come Back Alive charity foundation raises $8.8m to buy 25 Shark unmanned aerial reconnaissance drones

Come Back Alive foundation was able to raise funds to purchase Shark drones. The charity will be able to order 25 complexes.

Here's What We Know

The Eye for Eye project was implemented in cooperation with the OKKO petrol station chain. When purchasing Pulls fuel, the company transferred ₴1 ($0.027) per litre to the charity's account.

It managed to raise ₴325 million ($8.8 million) in about five months. This is enough to order 25 Shark unmanned aerial systems and 25 additional drones for quick replacement in case of destruction.

The cost of the complex including one additional drone is ₴13 million ($0.35 million). In addition to the UAV, it includes a mobile control station based on a Pulsar ExpoTorsus vehicle and a launcher.

The Shark is a UAV from Ukrspecsystems that is used for pointing and correcting fire. The first complex was handed over to artillerymen in March 2023. The drone is capable of operating for up to 4 hours without landing. The maximum flight range is over 300 km and communication transmissions are 60 km.
