Germany transfers 54 Vector reconnaissance drones to Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received Vector drones along with the TRML-4D radar. According to the German government, Germany has handed over 54 drones.

Here's What We Know

The Vector is a reconnaissance drone developed by Quantum Systems. It features low noise levels during flight and has an encrypted IP link for video transmission up to 35km away.

The drone can perform vertical take-off and landing in confined spaces and harsh environmental conditions. The drone is capable of flying for three hours at a cruising speed of 15-20 m/s (54-72 km/h).

The Vector has a maximum take-off weight of 7.4 kg. A ground station and a tablet are provided for control. The drone has a wingspan of 2.8 metres, but the folding design allows it to be carried inside a special backpack.
