Hermes introduces a laptop camera patch for the price of a budget smartphone

French fashion house Hermes has unveiled an unusual laptop accessory: a camera patch. It's not just unusual for its purpose, but also for its price.

Perhaps everyone knows that any thing in the house can be "repaired" with duct tape. Hermes knows it too, that's why they position the plaster as a universal material. That's why they position the band-aid as a multipurpose aid. You can use it to tape the camera on your gadget to avoid being watched, fix a wire, fix your glasses or even put it on your clothes and shoes - the company says this way you can make your favourite things more stylish and personalized.

The patch is reusable and made from soft and supple lambskin leather. It comes with three 9.9×2.4cm stickers. But the best part is the price of such a set, which is £125 or about $155.
