Xiaomi has ended the lifecycle of four popular smartphones - 2020 models will not receive MIUI updates

Three Redmi smartphones and one Xiaomi model have been added to the End of Support list. The Chinese company will no longer be releasing MIUI updates for these devices.

Here's What We Know

The End of Support list includes Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite models powered by Snapdragon 730G chip, as well as Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max based on Snapdragon 720G processor. All four smartphones were announced in spring 2020.

Being on the Endo of Support list means that the devices will not receive any updates. This applies to both the MIUI firmware and the Android operating system with security patches.
