Together with the Honor X50 and X50i, the Chinese company has unveiled another new smartphone. The second smartphone is called Honor Play 40.

Here's What We Know

The Honor Play 40 is a representative of the budget class. The wide frames in the large drop-shaped cutout say it right away. The screen parameters are also quite modest - TFT LCD and HD+. But there is an increased frame rate (90Hz). The diagonal is 6.56".

The Honor Play 40 has two modest cameras. On the back, there's a dual 13 MP + 2 MP phase-autofocus system, but no optical stabilisation. The selfie camera has a resolution of 5 MP. Both can shoot videos in Full HD.

The smartphone gets a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5. Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. NFC and stereo speakers are missing. The software platform is represented by Magic UI 7.1 and Android 13 firmware.
