TCL unveiled a 98" 4K TV with 144Hz refresh rate and Google TV 11.0 in Europe

A huge TV set from TCL has debuted on the European market. The model has the designation 98P745.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is the second TCL TV with a diagonal of 98", debuted in Europe, after the model 98C735, which was presented last year. It now costs €4000-5000 depending on the shop.

The TCL 98P745 features a 4K ULTRA HD display with frame rates up to 144Hz. The screen has HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, while the 30W sound system has Dolby Atmos support.

The TV has Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5 wireless adapters, a DVB-T2/S2/C tuner, two USB-A ports and one HDMI 2.1 port for perfect compatibility with the latest generation of set-top boxes. The software platform is the Google TV 11.0 operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

TCL 98P745 will go on sale in Europe in September 2023. The company also announced a model with a diagonal of 85" with a frame refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will be on the market by the end of summer. The cost of both TVs is not specified.
