The official announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will take place next week
After numerous leaks from various sources, the official Call of Duty account has finally posted a "real" key image of the next game in the series:

Here's What We Know
Of course, this is a joke. However, the image has a caption: "We'll be sharing our artistic abilities and even more next week".
This probably refers to the official announcement of the next CoD. A well-known insider, Tom Henderson, said that the original date of the presentation was August 1, but the plans changed. There were also rumours that the name of the new game will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and it will be developed by Sledgehammer Games
The logo has recently appeared in a promotional material for Monster Energy, which confirms the return of Captain Price. Neither Activision nor Sledgehammer directly acknowledged the leaks, but the former confirmed that this year's game will be a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022).
