Microsoft released a test build of Windows 10 (Insider Preview Build 17063 for PC), in   which provides new functions, from   which are the most interesting for the average user Timeline and Sets.


This is a function that allows you to continue   other devices: computers on   Windows, smartphones and   tablets for   Android and   iOS. For the function to work properly, application developers must add it   at   support. While the Timeline is supported only by Microsoft software products: Edge browser (available for iOS and Android), programs from   Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and   OneNote), some universal Windows applications (Maps, News, Money, Sports and   Weather.

Users themselves choose for which accounts the Timeline will be active.


The function under the test name Sets allows you to merge application windows into tabs in a single interface. It's like typing in your favorite Chrome, just for any applications. Any - but not now: so far, Sets are available to a limited number of testers and only for applications written for the Universal Windows Platform (UWP). Support for classical applications and Office is planned in 2018.
