American Moto Z2 Force from Verizon began to upgrade to Android 8.0

In August of this year, Motorola posted a list of its devices, which will update to the current version of Android 8.0 Oreo. And here after 3 months, the American version of the Moto Z2 Force from the Verizon operator received the promised update. Some users are already uploading screenshots with a new operating system or an update message.

In addition to the innovations of the new version of Android OS, the update contains a fresh security patch. Due to the fact that Motorola has not changed the interface much, the shell looks almost the same as on Pixel and Nexus-devices.

It's not clear when the update will be released for other versions of the smartphone: probably this will happen in the near future. Recall that Motorola promised to update the flagships of recent years and models of 2017, except for the rulers Moto E and Moto C. Flagship of other companies have already received Oreo: for example, Nokia 8 recently upgraded to eight, and Sony Xperia XZ Premium received an upgrade even earlier.
