In 2017, Ukrainians searched for OLX bicycles, iPhone and sofas
The team OLX has compiled a list of the most search queries on the service site for the past 2017. The company also noted the general trend - the Ukrainians began to spend more money online. Thus, the average check in the categories of consumer goods increased by 7% compared to 2016 and amounted to almost 1300 hryvnia.
What are Ukrainians interested in?
On desktops and Android-devices the rating is headed by "bicycle" - echoes of a hot summer season. If you compare with the results of 2016, the "sofa" unexpectedly broke into the second place, squeezing the dress, jackets and other items of the wardrobe. In the top 10 also got a "laptop". The madness around the spinners quickly came to naught - by the end of the year the turntables dropped to the 18th place, flying past the top ten.
Users iOS did not break the tradition and were looking primarily for the iPhone, which won six positions out of ten. Apparently, the output of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X made me think about buying a more recent model of past seasons (the most popular were the iPhone 6 and iPhone 7). In the rating of search queries also hit the fashion brands Zara, Nike and Adidas.
Of the unusual children's goods in the OLX noted toy-spinning bubble, which also noted in the annual report Google . The company shared the statistics of the service "OLX delivery": it was mainly used by residents of small towns (58%) when buying budget devices and accessories, and the average cost of goods sent was 454 hryvnia.
