Google launches a platform for citizen journalism, without fakes and clickbates

Google created Bulletin, which can be a convenient tool for civilian journalists for stories about   local events.

How it works

Judging by   screenshots, Bulletin will look like a completely normal pretty blog a la Medium. Anyone who is interested in social activities will be able to publish local news, keep a blog and   to exchange audio-video content inside the Bulletin itself. The   there is no need to run your blog or edition.

These materials will be visible to other Bulletin users who live near the author. In the future, they   will be able to verify the reliability of the facts and   form the author's trust rating. Thus, Google is trying to bring together the responsiveness to   submitting material to   social networks with   approach to   work of traditional media.

And here feyki and   clickbate?

Modern media are in   crisis, o   than trumpet literally everything. Journalism has merged with   blogging, becoming more fun, but   less professional. This resulted in   crisis of fake news and   clickbate, which helped Trump become president, and deprived Mark Zuckerberg of a dream . If the story with   Bulletin will burn out, then   the   Google will actually have its own news service, with   which can not be ignored.

While Google only reported on   that Bulletin is testing in   Nashville and   Oakland, where so   draws   work of local journalists.
