Meizu officially introduced a stable version of the operating system with the name Flyme 6 Spring Edition. The new firmware contains a number of some changes and will work on smartphones running Android Nougat, Marshmallow and Lollipop. Unfortunately, Android Oreo "did not deliver".

What changed

According to the company, the new version optimized the memory and processor. Also added a new game mode, for better performance in games. Another updated interface. Not all smartphones will receive the same functions. For example, in Meizu Pro 7, which runs on Android Nougat, will add the "quick application" feature, optimize the entire system and fix some problems with the stability of the device. In other models will add Meizu Pay and Game Mode 2.0.

In total, 34 Meizu smartphones will receive Flyme 6: MX4, MX4 Pro, MX5, MX6, PRO5, PRO6, PRO6, PRO6 Plus, PRO7, PRO7 Plus, M1 Note, M2 Note, M3 Note, M5 Note, M2 , M3, M3s, M5s, M1 Metal, Meizu X, Meizu E2, Meizu MX, M3 Max, U10 and U20.
