Few mini-PCs for home theater have such shapes and compactness as the A-Tech Fabrication HeatSync 1200 Ultra-Slim, whose dimensions are 355x219x35 mm. Strictly speaking, this is an almost finished mini-PC, which lacks only the processor, video card, RAM, drive and installed Windows 7. There is only Intel Centrino 6230 module for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, dock for iPhone and iPod, remote control, three USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, DVI, HDMI, Ethernet, eSATA, 3.5 mm audio jack, microphone and a couple of places for external Wi-Fi antennas. All this will cost around $ 650. If you need a fully-ready solution with a Core i3-2100T processor at 2.5 GHz with integrated Intel 2000 graphics, 4 or 8 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM at 1600 MHz and a 40 GB or 80 GB SSD integrated into the motherboard (an absolutely strange solution - it was more logical allocate space for a standard SSD or HDD of larger volume), then the price magically increases to almost $ 1500. Installed Windows 7 will add to the price from $ 120 to $ 200, depending on the version.
