Robot Vacuum Cleaner Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum stepped over the milestone

In 2016, a line of Xiaomi products was added to the Mi Robot Vacuum robot vacuum cleaner, which received an advanced navigation system and a price tag like budget models of promoted brands. The automatic cleaner is still in demand, and recently sales have passed for 1 million devices. There is also a high rating on the site of JD.com (100% positive customer ratings).

What kind of beast?

Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum is equipped with a Japanese Nidec engine with a suction power of up to 1800 Pa. Using a laser rangefinder and a bunch of other sensors, the robot cleaner is oriented in space, and the height of the main brush can be adjusted to the type of coating. The battery capacity of 5200 mAh (compare with smartphones is not worth it, because the voltage is higher - 14.4 V) provides up to 2.5 hours of continuous operation, which is enough for cleaning 250 m2 of the area.

Inside, a powerful quad-core chipset and two coprocessors are used. This is one of the most complex products in the line of "smart" devices. It took 26 months to develop it. The Mi Robot Vacuum was created by the start-up Roborock, which launched the updated Sweep One under its own brand. The model received a wet harvesting regime, but the price is also much higher - about $ 400 versus $ 270 for the Mi variant.

For comparison, iRobot flagship line Roomba 980 costs $ 900, and the simplest Roomba 614 will cost $ 300. The American company has been manufacturing robotic vacuum cleaners since 2002 and has already sold more than 14 million cleaners.
