In a wave of excitement, the Brazilian company Sikur introduced the smartphone SIKURPhone, which promises reliable protection of digital coins from hackers.

How it works?

The device comes with the operating system SikurOS. This is a modified version of Android, which transmits and stores all data in an encrypted form. The company already has experience in this field - in 2015 Sikur launched its first secure smartphone GranitePhone.

New SIKURPhone stores crypto-currencies in a secure cloud storage. In the company SIKURWallet, you can connect several purses. While it is not entirely clear what will happen to them in case of loss or theft of the smartphone, but at least, hackers are unlikely to get tokens on their accounts. Specialists of HackerOne company, which Sikur applied, tried to hack the device within two months, but they did not succeed in this case.

How is the smartphone itself?

SIKURPhone is not much different from Chinese mid-range models. He got a 5.5-inch elongated display with a protective glass Gorilla Glass. The chipset is not specified, and the amount of RAM is 4 GB. There is a 64 GB drive, on the back panel there is a main 13-megapixel camera with a second auxiliary module and a fingerprint scanner. Frontal camera for 5 megapixels. The Micro USB port is used to charge the 2800 mAh battery. Sikur plans to launch its own application store with a proven software.

At SIKURPhone you can already preorder. The smartphone was estimated at $ 800, the first batch consists of only 20,000 devices. The beginning of supplies is expected in August. While the device has only one competitor - Finney from Sirin Labs.
