Xiaomi is one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of smartphones. Recently, it expanded its influence in Europe, and now has set its sights on the American market.

CEO Lei Jun told The Wall Street Journal that the manufacturer decided to enter the US market at the end of this year or early in 2019. Now the United States sells some of the company's products: Android TV set-top box, portable batteries, two headphone models , camera 360 °. Xiaomi sells them through well-known retailers or on its official website.
The success of Xiaomi directly depends on the American operators. For example, the Chinese colleague ZTE managed to enlist the support and now the company's smartphones occupy their niche in the market. But there is another example - Huawei. Back in 2014, this company was banned from participating in government contracts, so it tried in every possible way to get to the US, at least through the smartphone market. But, unfortunately, she did not succeed.

Xiaomi has long expressed a desire to enter the US market. But the manufacturer does everything gradually and without hurry, so as not to repeat the similar scenario of Huawei. Maybe that's why she has a chance to "conquer" the United States of America.
