HTC Desire 12 and 12+: glass, screen 18: 9 and modest specifications
After a series of rumors and leaks , HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ smartphones were officially introduced. Novelties received "high" displays, and inherited from the flagships of the U-series a glass case with a metal frame.
Bright outside, simple inside
The senior HTC Desire 12+ is equipped with a 6-inch display with HD-resolution of 1440x720 pixels. Inside the budget processor Snapdragon 450 is used, there is 3 GB of operative and 32 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion by microSD cards with the volume up to 2 TB (theoretically). The rear 13-megapixel camera received an additional 2-megapixel module to create a bokeh effect. The front module is 8 megapixels.
The capacity of the battery is 2965 mAh. Both smartphones are running Android 8.0 Oreo with a shell HTC Sense.
The 5.5-inch HTC Desire 12 is still more modest. The heart of the device was a four-core processor MediaTek MT6739, a basic version of 2/16 GB, but there are modifications with 3 GB of operational 32 GB of internal memory. The main camera is 13 megapixels, the front camera is 5 megapixels. The battery capacity of 2730 mAh. The fingerprint scanner is only in the "plus".
When and how much?
Sales of smartphones will begin in April. Price HTC Desire 12 + depending on the region is from 235 to 250 euros, the younger Desire 12 costs from 185 to 200 euros. And that's the problem.
