Meizu E3 in the all-metal case is equipped with a 5.99-inch display with a fashionable aspect ratio of 18: 9 and Full HD + (2160x1080 pixels). The heart of the smartphone was the eight-core Snapdragon 636 processor with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz and graphics Adreno 509. Meizu is focusing on the gaming component, and although the chipset is not flagship, this is a big advance over last year's Meizu E2 on the Helio P20. RAM 6 GB, there are versions with a drive on 64 GB or 128 GB.

The main dual camera smartphone consists of two modules. 12-megapixel (Sony IMX362, 1.4 micron pixel size) with aperture f / 1.9 has received a system of fast autofocus Dual Pixel. The second module with 20 megapixels (Sony IMX350, 1.0 micron) with f / 2.6 optics is used not only for the bokeh effect with blurring of the background. The company claims a 1.8x optical zoom function and 2.5x hybrid zoom without losing quality. The smart algorithms of ArcSoft have not disappeared anywhere. The front camera is 8 megapixel.

Like the Meizu M6s, the fingerprint scanner is located on the side edge. The battery is 3360 mAh - the capacity is not a record, but the company promises up to 6 hours of play on one charge. By the way, about her. The smartphone supports fast charging of Cold mCharge with a power of 20 W, which allows you to charge your smartphone to 53% in just 30 minutes. And all this without superfluous heating of the case.

The smartphone is available in black, blue and gold (with a white front panel) options. Meizu E3 comes with a Flyme shell based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. There is Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5-mm headphone jack. Since the model is oriented to the Chinese market, the NFC did not bother.

When and how much?

In China Meizu E3 will go on sale on March 31, a 6/64 GB version is estimated at $ 285, and the top version for 6/128 GB will cost $ 315. Together with the smartphone, the company released a "traveler's kit" with Bear Kumamon for $ 95. It includes a suitcase, a road cushion and other small things:

Finally, on April 9, the Meizu E3 J-20 Edition, collector's edition, will be released, named after the Chinese fighter Chengdu J-20. One of 2000 sets with a stylized cover, engraving on the case and a special interface theme can be purchased for $ 315 or $ 395 depending on the amount of memory in the smartphone.

In our market, the novelty will not be officially supplied, but at home Meizu E3 will have to compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 , which does not have a monolithic case, but the battery is more powerful and the price is slightly lower (about $ 270 for a similar configuration).
