The Snapdragon 710 will be the first processor of the 700 series of Qualcomm
At the MWC 2018, Qualcomm did not show everyone, the expected Snapdragon 670 chip. Instead, the manufacturer announced a new 700 series. Now there was information about the first processor.
What is known
This was told by a popular insider Roland Quantt (Roland Quandt). The first chip of the new series will be Snapdragon 710. Unfortunately, so far there is no specific information about the specifications of the novelty. Previously, it was reported that the new series will receive AI capabilities thanks to Qualcomm AI Engine. Also, in addition, improve the camera's capabilities and reduce power consumption, compared with other processors (most likely we are talking about the 600 series).

When to expect
Quant did not say anything about the date of the announcement. But earlier Qualcomm company stated that the first chip of the 700 series will appear already in the first half of this year.
