Xiaomi has released an important system update for several smartphone models at once.

The new version of the software began to receive the flagships of the series Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13, as well as the foldable smartphone Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. In the update, the company's developers activated the Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) module.

Wi-Fi 7 represents the next generation of the Wi-Fi standard. Based on Wi-Fi 6, the new standard introduces 320 MHz bandwidth, 4096-QAM, Multi-RU (Resource Unit), multi-channel operation and interaction with multiple access points (Access Point). Thanks to this, Wi-Fi 7 has higher data rates and lower latency compared to Wi-Fi 6.

Incidentally, apart from cmratphones, Xiaomi has also started activating Wi-Fi 7 in some routers.
