MSI has unveiled Thunder Shadow 17: a gaming laptop with Ryzen 9 7940HX chip and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

The novelty is called Thunder Shadow 17. The device is equipped with Ryzen 9 7940HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. The laptop comes with 16GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD drive.

The Thunder Shadow 17 sports a 17.3-inch display with 2.5K resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 240Hz refresh rate. The panel boasts 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space. The device is powered by a 99Wh battery. The laptop supports 100W charging. The device also features Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 Wi-Fi 7 module with 5Hz and 6Hz support and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, USB-A 3.2 Gen1, 3.5mm, HDMI 2.1, DP ports.

Price & When We Can Expect It

MSI Thunder Shadow 17 can already be bought in China for $1410. Whether the novelty will appear in other countries is still unknown.
