Sony has been slow to announce its new games, but the name of one of them may have been revealed.

Gematsu portal journalists noticed that Sony Interactive Entertainment has applied in the USA for registration of a new trade mark - Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Of course, there is no guarantee that Sony is really working on a game with this name, but if it is, the project will most likely be in the science fiction setting.

The gaming community immediately started speculating, which of Sony's internal studios might be working on a game in such a setting? The answer is: any of them. But let us remind that Sony Santa Monica team (author of God of War) has long dreamed of such a game, and probably Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will be the embodiment of their idea.
