Insider: OnePlus Watch 2 could have a clone with a different name
OnePlus confirmed this week that their new OnePlus Watch 2 is getting ready to debut at MWC 2024. Some of the device's specs and appearance are already known. Now it has also become known that this watch may have a copy under a different name.
Here's What We Know
According to a new rumour from informant @chunvn888888, the OnePlus Watch 2 will have a clone in the form of the OPPO Watch 4X (or Watch X). The informant says that the OPPO version will be exactly the same except for one aspect. The OnePlus Watch 2 will come in green colour, while the OPPO Watch 4X/Watch X will come in yellow-gold variant.
In some markets, OnePlus Watch 2 will be released under a different name, aka OPPO Watch 4X (or Watch X). Like any OPPO OnePlus sibling products, both watches are exactly the same with the noticeable difference being the OPPO will have a gold/yellow colour instead of OnePlus' green one

Price & When We Can Expect It
OPPO's version of the OnePlus Watch 2, which is rumoured to run on Google's Wear OS, is expected to be launched globally next month. OPPO's launch could come right after the release of OnePlus Watch 2. OPPO is expected to launch in parts of Europe, while OnePlus will cover regions like North America and India.
Both the OnePlus Watch 2 and OPPO Watch 4X/Watch X are expected to cost the same as the Galaxy Watch 6. That means, you can expect a price of around $300.
