"Ultra" system requirements have appeared on the Portal with RTX page on Steam

We are used to the fact that Steam has two categories of system requirements on the page of any game: minimum and recommended. It's simple but informative, but for the first time, a third category, Ultra, has appeared.

Here's What We Know

The "ultra" system requirements are still present only on the Portal with RTX page. All other pages, as before, have only minimum and recommended requirements.

It is not known whether new categories of system requirements will appear in other games on Steam, or whether this is just a one-time promotion for Portal with RTX. Still, it would be nice to see an expanded list of requirements for demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 in the future to better understand what our PC is capable of.

Flashback

Portal is a first-person puzzle game set in the mysterious laboratories of Aperture. Players have to solve physical puzzles and get out of difficult situations by opening portals to move objects and themselves in space.

Portal with RTX is an updated version that demonstrates the power of GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. Every frame of gameplay has been enhanced with full ray tracing, new hand-crafted high-resolution textures, and improved high-poly models.
