What game would you like to see adapted into a film? Perhaps Red Dead Redemption, Cyberpunk, or Alan Wake? These are all cool, but a film adaptation of the popular Sims game series is in development.

Here's What We Know

Margot Robbie's production company LuckyChap is responsible for the creation. Vertigo Entertainment, known for the It film dilogy, and Electronic Arts, the publisher of the Sims games, will also join the project.

The film is directed by Kate Herron, who worked on the first season of Loki.

LuckyChap also produced the Barbie film, which became a box office success. Therefore, the company already knows how to work with franchises that do not have a clear narrative component, because Sims is a life simulator where you create your characters, apartments, and develop it all.

The cast, plot details and release date of the film are currently unknown.
