The authors of superhero action game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra revealed the game's cast
On 20 March, the story trailer of the superhero action game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra about Captain America and Black Panther was finally presented. At the same time, Marvel revealed the game's cast.
Here's What We Know
Gary Payton, known for The Walking Dead and Invincible, plays Black Panther. And the role of Captain America went to Drew Moerlein. He is not the most famous actor, but he already has experience in films and games. In the latter, he voiced minor roles in Forbidden West and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Megalyn Echikunwoke plays Nanali, a Wakandan spy working in occupied Paris. Mark Richardson plays Gabriel Jones, an American soldier. Lyne Renée plays Julie, a key ally in the French Resistance, and Joel Johnstone completes the cast as Howard Stark.
The game's music is composed by Grammy Award-winning composer Stephen Barton. He was responsible for the music in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Flashback
In the game by Skydance New Media, superheroes have to liberate Paris from the Third Reich army and the villain Hydra. In addition to the occupied French capital, the heroes of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will visit the fictional country of Wakanda, the birthplace of Black Panther. The development is headed by Amy Hennig, the writer of the first three Uncharted titles, and the game is being created on the Unreal Engine 5 engine using the most advanced technologies.
When We Can Expect It
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be released in 2025, but the platforms are not yet specified.
