Acolytus trailer garners 51.3 million views in first 24 hours - a Lucasfilm record

On 19 March, we were presented with the debut trailer of the detective series Acolyte in the Star Wars universe. And now Disney has told us about one record of this trailer.

Here's What We Know

The trailer gained 51.3 million views in the first 24 hours. This is a new record for any Lucasfilm series.

However, the trailer now has more than 250 thousand dislikes and 150 thousand likes. Although on Twitter, people write that the trailer is not so bad that it gets more dislikes than likes. So for some of the audience, this ratio is quite strange.

Flashback

Acolyte takes place about 100 years before the events of Episode 1 of the Star Wars film. The plot revolves around a former Padawan who reunites with his Jedi master to investigate a series of crimes. However, the forces they face are more sinister than they could have expected.

When We Can Expect It

The first episodes of the detective series will be available on 4 June on Disney+.
