Final Fantasy 16: The Rising Tide will raise the maximum character level to 60

"The Rising Tide" expansion pack for Final Fantasy 16 will be filled with new content for fans: a new location, side quests, and the introduction of Leviathan with his unique abilities. In addition, as confirmed by the PlayStation Blog, the maximum level will be increased, which is a very interesting innovation

Here's What We Know

After the release of the expansion, players in story and action modes will be able to reach level 60, and in Final Fantasy (New Game+) mode - level 110. This is a significant leap from the current level limits of 50 and 100 for these modes. The blog also hints that Leviathan won't be the only new ability available to players.

If you purchase "The Rising Tide" or the Expansion Pass, you will receive an updated Curtana, which is known from Final Fantasy 14's Warrior of Light, as well as two orchestral rolls: Torn from the Heavens and Through the Maelstrom.

In addition, the free update that will be released with the DLC will add 40 new music rolls for the Hide and Seek music, as well as features that improve the quality of life, such as Skill Sets and Quick Quest Completion.

When We Can Expect It

Final Fantasy 16: The Rising Tide is scheduled for release on 18 April.
