MSI has unveiled a new gaming monitor with a 27″ screen, 4K resolution, 160Hz support and Quantum Dot technology

MSI has introduced a new gaming monitor with the name MPG 274URF QD.

Here's What We Know

The monitor is equipped with a 27-inch display with 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 160Hz refresh rate. Response time is 0.5 ms.

The novelty boasts Quantum Dot backlighting. This technology provides a wider colour gamut, exceeding 145% of the sRGB spectrum. The monitor still supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync technologies, as well as 10-bit colour depth (8 bits + FRC), 1000:1 static contrast ratio, VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard and 400 nits peak brightness. Among the ports in the device there is USB Type-C with 65W Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1. The MSI MPG 274URF QD comes with a height and tilt adjustable stand.

Unfortunately, there is no price or launch date for the MSI MPG 274URF QD yet.
