Unexpected return of an unaccepted game: Hellgate: London sequel announced

Few people remember such a game as Hellgate: London. It was released in 2007 and was not appreciated by the public.

Several times the developers tried to save the action by making it conditionally free, and with the help of other solutions, but it didn't give any result.

And now, many years later, the announcement of Hellgate: London sequel was made unexpectedly.

Here's What We Know

The game under the working title Hellgate: Redemption is created by Lunacy Games studio, which was founded by the key developer of the original game Bill Roper.

The project is being created in cooperation with the Korean company HanbitSoft, which currently owns the rights to Hellgate.

Bill Roper said that he has always dreamed of returning to his own universe and expanding it. It is known that Hellgate: Redemption will be a big-budget game for PC and consoles, it is created on Unreal Engine 5 with the use of cloud technologies and other services.

The developers promise to keep all the features of the original and supplement them with modern mechanics and features.

Neither trailer nor release date has not yet been presented by Lunacy Games studio.
