Insider: the official announcement of Gears 6 shooter from The Coalition studio will take place very soon
Reputable journalist and insider Jeff Grubb repeatedly reported that The Coalition studio is developing the sixth part of the shooter series Gears (previously it was called Gears of War).
According to him the game is created on Unreal Engine 5 and will try to surprise gamers with a full-fledged open world.
Today Grubb said that the official announcement of Gears 6 will take place very soon.

In the latest episode of the podcast on Kinda Funny Games channel Jeff Grubb said that according to his information The Coalition studio plans to break the silence and officially deliver Gears 6 in the near future.
The Verge's editor-in-chief Tom Warren also agreed with Grubb.

It's currently unknown when the unveiling will take place, but it's logical to assume it will happen in early summer during a major Microsoft show that hasn't been announced yet, but is expected to take place in the first half of June.
