Legionnaires are getting closer: the release date of the tactical game King Arthur: Legion IX, which was planned as an add-on for King Arthur: Knight's Tale, has been revealed

Neocore Games studio announced the release date of King Arthur: Legion IX - a standalone tactical game, which was originally planned as a supplement to King Arthur: Knight's Tale.

Here's What We Know

The game about the Roman commander Gaius Julius Mento, who rose from the dead, will be released on the 9th of May only on Steam.

According to the plot of King Arthur: Legion IX, the experienced commander will return from Tartarus as a demon and servant of the dead Emperor Septimus Sulla and will go to the mysterious island of Avalon to fight with the Knights of the Round Table and build a new Rome.

Players will face 15 exciting missions with complex tactical battles and strategic planning of their actions.

Most of the mechanics and combat system of Legion IX are taken directly from Knight's Tale, but the developers did not forget to add new features.

Recently King Arthur: Knight's Tale became available on PlayStation and Xbox, sowe can expect Legion IX to be released on consoles.
